Dr. Ashima Mehta is a Paediatrician with specialised training in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics. She has experience in the assessment and management of children with neurodevelopmental and behavioural concerns, including autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, learning difficulties, high-risk infant follow-up, and early childhood developmental concerns.

Dr. Mehta has completed several national and international training programmes in paediatrics, developmental assessment, autism intervention, and behavioural management.

Her specialised developmental and behavioural paediatrics training includes:

  • Senior Residency in Department of paediatrics , Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (19/01/2024- currently going on)
  • Training in Challenging Behaviour in Children with Autism at the Centre for Child Development Disabilities, Bengaluru.
  • Advanced workshop training in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) by the UC Davis MIND Institute.
  • Training in the use of the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, Fourth Edition (Bayley-IV), conducted by Pearson Education Services.
  • Training in Sensory Integration Therapy, conducted by Cambridge Institute for Professional Development in collaboration with JKP Healthcare.
  • Participation in the ECHO–ADHD Programme conducted by Ummeed Child Development Center for training paediatricians in ADHD management.
  • Training in administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) at Vanderbilt Kennedy Center.
  • Served as an investigator in the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development-IV standardisation to Indian norms project.
